Our Mission
Our mission at Ascent is to create a recreational and social support center for youth in Cowlitz County. Ascent will offer a diverse array of pro-social activities through providing a safe atmosphere for play and exploring new interests.
Ascent will serve as an access point for receiving emotional, social and physical health services, life skills training and community resources.
Our goal is to empower youth to reach their full potential.

Forming partnerships with community members who inspire youth to pave their own path .
Raising up leaders amongst our youth to influence others towards upward movement.
Create greater access to parenting classes for parents.
Create a youth drop-in center which is designed to attract youth with recreational activities as well as access to wellness resources.
Create greater evidenced- based practices for youth which address mental health risks, substance use, resilience factors and school performance.
Construct a therapeutic program for emancipating youth, such as life skills training, GED assistance and workforce training.
