Meet the Team
Frank Morrison, Chief executive officer
Frank Morrison first started his role as the director at Community House on Broadway in the year 2012. During his inaugural year in the position of director, Frank keenly observed the pressing need within our community for comprehensive mental health and substance use services, particularly noting the correlation it had with the increasing rates of homelessness. His primary goal was to provide accessible mental health and substance use services directly on site at Community House. In 2015, he took a significant step forward by establishing CORE Health in hopes of extending these vital services to those in need throughout the community. His unwavering dedication and passionate service to the community have since grown into a collective team effort that actively meets clients where they are, ensuring their unique needs are addressed with compassion and understanding.

The overarching goal remains clear: to help clients effectively achieve their treatment goals by supporting staff with well-designed organizational structures and efficient processes.
Aurora Schoonover, Operations Manager for Ascent YOuth Center
I have lived in Longview all my life, and I have been actively involved with various organizations that support vulnerable populations since I was in High School. During that time, I volunteered for Janice Youth House, worked as a caregiver providing essential assistance, and served families as a Family Advocate at Head Start before transitioning to my current position. Additionally, I spent two fulfilling years as a school-based clinician with CORE prior to moving into my current role. Now, I provide office-based mental health counseling to youth, while also fulfilling important duties as the Operations Manager for Ascent, where I focus on enhancing our services and outreach.
